We had the privilege of holding our annual Jani mid-summer celebration event on June 22, 2022 at the Latvian Lutheran Church hall in Homebush. We were grateful to have hosted a wonderful event where both our clients and staff got to mingle while enjoying food, traditional Latvian singing and dancing.
Also a big thank you to Helen’s Catering for feeding all of our hungry guests! We had a range of delicious savoury cocktail finger foods, fresh roast meats and gourmet desserts.
We greatly appreciate the help from all of our volunteers, staff, and clients, as well as their time. We hope that we will be able to continue to meet in the near future.

Share the Dignity 2022
We received a generous donation of feminine hygiene products from our charity partner Share the Dignity. Many of these items have been donated to single mothers and victims of domestic violence who are struggling to make ends meet.
The Islamic Women's Association of Australia (IWAA) and YACAH have teamed up to supply these products directly to those affected.
We would like to thank both IWAA and Share the Dignity for their significant contribution.

Christmas Empower Packs
For this Christmas, we were thrilled to have delivered gifts to our clients and seeing the smiles in their faces in these times. This has been a challenging year to many, and what better way to end this year with the Christmas spirit of generosity and gift-giving.
We would like to thank Share the Dignity and Good360 Australia for the Christmas gift packs, and all of our partners who have worked together with us in these challenging times. We wish for a hopeful year in 2021.
Post-Lockdown - COVID-19
So far the year 2020 has been anything but normal. Health and safety concerns are at an all time high with the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide and the unusual detection of Ross River Virus (RRV) around the South West.
We have heightened all hygiene and sanitary measures to protect the well-being of all our wonderful elderly/disabled clients and staff members.
The generosity of our partner charities is crucial during these trying times. We would like to say a big thank you to Good360 Australia for providing not only cleaning products and toilet paper for our at home clients but also a massive 200 mosquito zappers to provide to those in RRV risk areas.
January to March 2020 - Bushfire Relief
Your Aged Care at Home supported bushfire victims at Cobargo in January by donating excess Christmas Appeal Goods to Toddlers Ink Children's Learning Centre (Childcare centre in Greenacre).
In March, Karen Goderie kindly represented our team by travelling out to Blackheath Public School to donate some children supplies to help support families affected by the fires. We would like to thank Good360 Australia for supplying most of the goods that were donated which included books and Legos.
Additional books were also supplied to pre-schoolers at Hazelbrook.
